This is an encaustic painting on a wooden substrate and professionally framed . It is 12 x 24 inches (26.4 x 52.8 cm).
From a distance this painting looks like a study in black and white but upon further review it is actually in full colour. Travelling this road in the East Haliburton Highlands, I was struck by the beauty of the wintery scene and noted the fantastic juxaposition of the bright orangey yellow sign. My husband’s heart may have missed a beat or two as I stood in the middle of the slippery road to get this picture! Anything for the art!
